Les Voltes is a certified, newly renovated country apartment, part of which is built over an arch dating from at least the 14th century. The arch, which was originally called Les Voltes de Gratapalles, is a protected part of the local heritage and was the scene of a documented sword fight in 1519. Our goal when renovating the apartment, apart from creating a space where we ourselves would like to live, was to do justice to this wonderful piece of history on which the apartment rests.
Our goal when renovating the apartment was to create a space where we ourselves would like to live, that was practical and functional yet retained all its charm and character and was equipped with all the comforts we like to find when we go on holidays.
Our rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished, but retain their original charm, with perfectly conserved wooden beams and woodwork, original stone flooring, and in one of the rooms, mural paintings dating back over 200 years.
The kitchen area boasts a silestone countertop, a SMEG oven and 90-cm gas hob, and a powerful yet silent extractor set amidst old Catalan kitchen tiles and a little wooden window that looks out onto one of the village’s most emblematic squares. Next to this window is a balcony with fresh herbs to add a special touch to your meals.
Our guests have exclusive use of our stunning rooftop terrace on the third floor during their stay
Our rooftop terrace/chillout area is the perfect spot for unwinding on balmy summer nights, foggy spring mornings or sunny winter days
With its great natural beauty, incomparable cultural heritage and superb gastronomy, La Conca de Barberà is the perfect place to get away from it all. It’s slow tourism at its best.
